Terms of service
Version 2026-10-25. These terms are between [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ([MAILING ADDRESS]) and the business that signs up for Droplog. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of that business.
1. The service
Droplog lets a business record its deliveries: managers enter deliveries and invoices, drivers post a photo at each stop, and each driver's deliveries are kept in an Excel log. The optional Ledger add-on tracks supplier invoices and money owed by customers. We may improve or change features; we won't remove a core feature you pay for without telling you first.
2. Accounts
Keep passwords and driver sign-in links private. Anyone with a driver's sign-in link can post as that driver, and anyone with a private Excel link can open that log, until you replace the link in Droplog. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for the people you add to it.
3. Free trial
New businesses get 14 days free, including Ledger. No card is needed to start. If you don't add a card by the end of the trial, managers lose access until you do; drivers can still finish stops already on their routes, and your Excel links keep working.
4. Prices and billing
- You pay per active driver per month, with unlimited stops. The price per driver depends on how many active drivers you have: Starter (1–4) $50, Fleet (5–14) $45, Business (15+) $40, in Canadian dollars. You're billed for at least one driver.
- Adding a driver or turning one off part-way through a month is prorated.
- Storage for photos, invoices and logs is billed monthly on the average you store, at the per-GB price shown in Droplog. It can change when our hosting costs change; we'll show the new price in Droplog before it applies.
- Ledger is included on Fleet and Business, and is an add-on on Starter at the price shown in Droplog.
- Prices don't include sales taxes, which are added where they apply. Payments are processed by Stripe. Plan prices may change with 30 days' notice by email.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still isn't paid, we may pause access until it is.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan & storage. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
6. Your data
- Your deliveries, photos, invoices and records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Droplog for you.
- You can download your Excel logs at any time. After you cancel, you have 90 days to download them; then we delete your data, including from backups.
- You're responsible for having the right to put information about your drivers and customers into Droplog, and for telling your drivers what it records. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Droplog to break the law, to track people outside of making deliveries, to upload anything you don't have the right to, or to try to reach other businesses' data or disrupt the service.
8. Availability
We work to keep Droplog running and back up data every night, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Drivers' posts are saved on their phone when there's no signal and upload later. Droplog is a record-keeping tool; it isn't a guarantee that a delivery happened or that a customer will pay.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost business), and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or isn't paid, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
11. Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the version above and email the account owner before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
